Current Year 11 Boys & Girls interested in elite football and education Academy




We will be holding open trials for current year 11 boys and girls who are interested in applying to join the elite full time football and education Academy based at Ewen Fields in Hyde. Trial starts at 10:00 and runs through to 15:00

We offer an outstanding A Level/Btec Level 3 education program delivered at Ewen Fields by full time teachers in partnership with Warrington College. The education is timetabled to allow up to 16 hours of elite football training and games with the aim of providing students with a route into full time employment within football or the sports industry

Hyde United FC & Hyde United FC Academy


We take our safeguarding duty to children and vulnerable adults seriously at Hyde United FC, Hyde United FC Academy, RSC Academy and our partners Warrington Collegiate.


We work within strict guidelines to ensure that best practice is implemented, reviewed and monitored at all levels.


ALL staff who work within the club have current DBS certificates and have received training to help ensure we deliver the highest levels of care.

A fantastic performance by the girls this morning against an older team.

2-1 and played really really well!

We used the opportunity to try some new systems/formations which they adapted to showing their desire to learn and improve. Development is the key and this group are doing that every week.

Project aim

To fund development of the Hyde United FC community program using football to engage with all of the people of Hyde/Tameside

Hyde United FC are working hard to engage with all sections of the local community, to allow the club to build a sustainable Community based club which is a reflection of the people of Hyde and wider Tameside region.


We are offering a 5 day / 4 night holiday for two people at the exclusive Hotel Can Mostatxins, in Alcudia, Mallorca.


Each pledge of £10 will be entered into a prize draw to win this prize worth over €2500 euro.


e.g £50 would mean five tickets in the draw.


The prize will include four nights stay at the Hotel, flights to Palma from a Mainland UK or European Union airport, airport transfers, breakfast at the Hotel and dinner at a private selection of recommended restaurants.

The money raised will be used to ensure that Hyde United are able to continue their development, and the provision of community sports events for the local community which include walking football for the over 50s, Girls and Ladies football, community development in partnership with the local Mosque ensuring participation by Asian boys and girls, disability football, partnerships with local primary and secondary schools to promote a healthy lifestyle and a lifelong participation in and love of sport.


This program has already engaged with over 300 local boys and girls aged 6 to 16 and we know we can do so much more.
